The Xenofish platform participated this Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the "Research opens its doors to you" day, 3rd edition, organized by the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences of the University of Bordeaux .

For this 3rd edition, the public turned out in large numbers, curious and enthusiastic. An interested and interesting audience, who were able to:

📊 Discover different workshops and posters
👩‍🔬 interact with students, research staff and technology platforms

The Xenofish team presented the zebrafish model ( Danio rerio ) , widely used in medical research, to an audience curious and interested in its scientific applications.

Through an explanatory poster and an interactive workshop , visitors were able to discover why this model is preferred in biomedical research and understand its many advantages.

The workshop offered the observation of zebrafish embryos at different stages of development , up to 5 days post-fertilization, allowing to illustrate the key stages of early development.

This day has once again reminded us that research is a true source of hope, a driving force for innovation and understanding of life.
An edition focused on transmission, passion and sharing, which was greatly appreciated by all!
